 Courtney Phillips was born on May 3, 1988 in Franklin Springs, Georgia.  Something that she enjoys is playing Wii with her brother, playing with her Siamese cat, and playing frisbee with her boyfriend. She is an Early Childhood Education major who hopes to graduate, attain further degrees, and get married. Some of her favorite things include: Joshua Callicutt, Red Swedish Fish, high heels, sushi, piano, and black and white films(her favorite is Arsenic and Old Lace).

Miss Emmanuel

 Melissa Morrision is from Iron Station, North Carolina and is a Music Education Major. She was born on November 12, 1986.  Her favorite thing is a toss up between Lysol and brushing her teeth. Something in life she enjoys is having the ability to walk through her house in the dark because she knows the layout by heart. Her goal after Emmanuel is to get out of debt.

 Lorena Trevino was born on March 16 and she is from Alvin, Texas.  She is a Business major with a History minor who loves shopping and fashion magazines.  Some things in life that she enjoys are: Family, friends, and God. Her goal after graduating, is to get herself out of debt.

 Mike Oberg is a Secondary English Education major from Barnesville, Georgia.  He was born on October 20, 1985. Something he really enjoys in life is baseball and he hopes to one day teach and coach baseball.

Bess Daniel was born on February 16, 1988 and grew up in Marietta, Georgia. She is an Early Childhood Education major who enjoys laughing so hard her stomach hurts. Her favorite thing is spending time with her boyfriend, Nathan Benjamin Harrell. Her goal after graduating is to be Jesus' hands and feet.

Mary Gosnell

Mary Gosnell was born on May 31, 1988 and lives in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.  She is a History Education Major whose favorite thing is being outdoors with all of her siblings and her favorite people in life.  After Emmanuel she plans to get her master's, teach, and raise a very large family.  Something in life she enjoys is reading, learning about history, and cooking food for her really tall boyfriend.

Sweta Patel is a Pre-Med major from Rabun County, Georgia. She was born on February 6, 1989. Her favorite things to do are either cook or bake.  Some things in life she enjoys are movie nights, hanging out, spending time with her family, and painting. Her goal after Emmanuel is to go to graduate school, get married and have a family, and make her parents' dreams come true.

Alex Hammock was born November 17, 1988 in beautiful Rabun County, Georgia.  She is a Secondary Education major who loves writing.  She really enjoys hanging out with friends and family, whether they are cooking or watching movies together.  After Emmanuel she hopes to become a teacher, have a family, and publish a book.

Thomas Brandon Barnette was born on April 3, 1990 and lives in Salem, Virginia. His favorite thing is his phone. He is a History Education major who loves to sing.  When he becomes a teacher he hopes to encourage his students to fall in love with history and not fall asleep during his class.

Matthew Tavares
Freshmen Vice President

Matthew Tavares was born on September 6, 1988 and lives in Locust, Georgia. He is a Pre-Med major whose favorite thing is eating chocolate chip cookies with friends while he picks his afro. After Emmanuel he hopes to go through 4 more years of school to become a doctor and then travel the world. Some things that he enjoys in life are: hanging out with family, staying at the beach, playing games/sports, and helping people.

  Hannah Ward is an Early Childhood Education major from Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born on August 15, 1990. Some things that she enjoys include: trips to the lake, Adam Sandler movies, watching football and the N.C. State Fair.
