Nashville – December 2011
– led by Katie Harvill and Margaret Turner
This mission team went out to minister to the homeless by feeding them and setting up new tents. They also helped to feed and deliver presents to the children of a government housing program.
Port St. Lucie, Florida – Spring Break 2012
– led by Phil Cortese and Liz Gardner
The group will be working with the The Well Community Church. The Well was started by three EC alums. They will be doing a series of community service projects and partnering with other local ministries.
Costa Rica – May 2012
– led by Shalimar Crowe and Erin Rosene
This is a mission trip for those who enjoy sports and adventure as they travel to La Montana Christian Camp to serve and minister to over 300 campers. They will also visit local schools and orphanages to share God’s love through sports and drama.
Philippines – June 2012
– led by Alice Black and Tracy Reynolds
A group of twelve Emmanuel College students will be partnering with Lighthouse Christian Community and Christian Light Foundation, offering medical missions, school outreach, government and marketplace leadership training, sidewalk Sunday schools, youth ministry, and other service projects. The team is diverse in terms of abilities, talents, and academic majors.
