Living a Life That Matters
We encourage our students to strive for excellence in all areas of life—academically, professionally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Focusing on more than just the mind, an education that integrates faith, learning, and living is designed to develop the entire person. For students, the spiritual and relational aspects of the college experience are just as vital as the academic, and healthy eating and exercise habits are just as important as healthy study habits.
Emmanuel College is also striving for this same sort of excellence as an institution. That is why the projects funded by the Growing Forward campaign are tailored to enhance all aspects of the educational experience. For example, we are Growing Forward academically by adding a variety of new undergraduate degree programs and recruiting noted faculty members.
Our Athletics Program is Growing Forward through the addition of a variety of new intercollegiate sports. Combined with the completion of our new athletic complex, these programs will create opportunities for students to interact socially and to integrate physical fitness into their daily lives on a larger scale than is possible with our current campus facilities.
By 2020, our vision is for Emmanuel College to become a Christian university with over 1200 students. You can help us maintain the standard of excellence needed to achieve this milestone through your support of Growing Forward.
Improving Campus Facilities
Today’s technology changes rapidly. What was cutting-edge five years ago may be obsolete today. For our graduates to be competitive, Emmanuel College must stay up to date on the latest technology and methodology.
That’s why one of our first Growing Forward campaign goals is to improve existing campus facilities. Funds allocated to this portion of the campaign will be used to provide new teaching equipment and training resources so that our faculty will have the tools necessary to train students to enter the workforce.
Plans are in place to renovate classrooms, purchase new computers and lab equipment, and update current campus technologies. Your gifts can make it possible for students to gain hands-on experience with the real-world technology they will be working with post graduation.
