Sean Williamson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with strong ties to Emmanuel College. He graduated from Emmanuel in 2000 with a B.A. in psychology and went on to complete his Master’s in Social Work from the University of Georgia in 2004.
He has worked in the Student Life department as a Residence Director and taught in the Social Sciences before being named Director of Counseling and Career Services in 2008.
Before coming to Emmanuel, Sean worked as a service coordinator, a medical social worker, a counselor in a community health center, an instructor at Toccoa Falls College, and a Senior Mental Health Counselor at a state prison.
Sean also works in private practice at Wellsprings Psychological Resources in Franklin Springs and owns and operates the DUI School of Northeast Georgia.
