Private Instruction
Lessons are available for all ages and levels of ability in piano, voice, brass, strings, woodwinds, music theory and composition. We
also offer Bluegrass mandolin, banjo & fiddle instruction. Students may request a student instructor, affiliate instructor, or an
Emmanuel College faculty member. Private instruction is based on instructor availability. Prices range from $11‐25 per 30 minute
lesson or $132‐300 per 12‐week semester. Please contact the Academy office for instructor availability and fees.

Kids Beginner Guitar Class
Ages 7‐12
Mr. Josh Bryan, Instructor; $144.00; Thursdays 5:00‐6:00, T107
Students will learn the basics of playing the guitar, including chord symbols, melody, rhythm, technique, accompaniment, solo and
group playing. This class is designed especially for those interested in contemporary praise and worship. Students must supply their

Teen/Adult Beginner Guitar Class

Kids Voice Class
Ages 6‐12 years old

This kid‐friendly class will teach young singers the basics of singing, how to practice, vocalize, and present themselves on stage. Kids
will be exposed to different styles of music and will have the opportunity to build confidence, poise and stage‐presence as they
perform for each other.

Musical Theatre
Ages 6‐16 years old
Dr. Deborah Stark, Instructor; $144.00; Thursdays 5:00‐6:00, Room T109
This exciting performance class is designed to develop skills for the singing‐actor. The course will cover the basics in theatrical
singing, voice projection, dramatic presentation, stage etiquette, dance movement and audition techniques. Students will learn both
solo and large ensemble pieces and will perform in the Academy student recital.
