The Emmanuel College Lions and Lady Lions Tennis Teams brought their seasons to a close last Friday at Oxford College.  Finishing on a positive note, both teams won, which was especially satisfying for the men, since they were a player short and had to start the match behind 0-2. No. 6 Lanny Farmer was unable to play because of an injured foot, but the rest of the teams stepped up and played extremely well for a final score of Lions ,5, Oxford, 4.  Playing their last college match was seniors Johnathan Harris and Adam Smith, both of whom won.

The Lady Lions performed very well, winning 7-2.  Senior and NCCAA All-American Rochelle Dobbs finished her career by winning impressively against a good opponent, and although senior Emily Giles did not fare well in her singles match, she played impressively with her partner for a doubles win.  Both no. 4 Johnna Mouchet and no. 5 Kayla Duncan came back after losing the first sets to beat their opponents.
