The Lions Tennis Team met perennial NCCAA power North Greenville University on Emmanuel's courts on April first, coming away with a 9-0 loss.  However, the Lions got excellent doubles play from the no. 1 team of Colby Phillips and Trevor Lanier, who lost 9-8 in a tiebreak.  The Lions also welcomed back J. B. Workman to the lineup, who had been out most of the year for back surgery.  The Lions competed well against North Greenville, who has won the NCCAA National Championship several years in a row.

 

Men’s Doubles

Phillips and Lanier lost to Kurhajec and Rogers, 8-9 (4-7).
Smith and Harris lost to Rorech and Ho, 1-8.
Farmer and Workman lost to Vasquez and Aguliera, 4-8.

Men’s Singles

Colby Phillips lost to Kurhajec, 2-6,2-6.
Trevor Lanier lost to Rorech, 3-6, 1-6.
Adam Smith lost to Ho, 0-6, 0-6.
Johnathan Harris lost to Vasquez, 1-6, 1-6.
Lanny Farmer lost to Aguliera, 0-6, 0-6.
J. B. Workman lost to Rogers, 0-6, 1-6.
