“The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced 277 softball players have been named 2008 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes. Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.” (NAIA)

 

Caitlin Bryan (3.54 GPA) is a senior Communication Studies major with an emphasis in multimedia presentation. She is a graduate of JM Tate High School. Caitlin, daughter of Ronald Kenneth Bryan, is a resident of Walnut Hill, Florida.

 

Haley Freeman (3.88 GPA) is a senior Business Administration major. Haley, daughter of David & Tamara Freeman, is a resident of Nicholson, Georgia. She is a graduate of Jackson County High School.

 

Shana Gibbs (3.95 GPA) is a senior Early Childhood Education major. She is a graduate of Jackson County High School. Shana, daughter of Terry & Margie Gibbs, resides in Commerce, Georgia

 

Jennifer Howard (3.77 GPA) is senior Business Administration major. She is a graduate of Osborne High School.  Jennifer, daughter of Philip Howard, resides in Kennesaw, Georgia with her family.

 

Kasey Reed (3.93 GPA) is a native to Toccoa, Georgia. Kasey, daughter of Terry & Kay Reed, is a graduate of Stephens County High School. She is a senior Kinesiology (Exercise Science) major.

 

Diana Robinson (3.67 GPA) is a senior Communication Studies major with an emphasis in corporate communication. Diana, daughter of Steve & Cathy Robinson, is a graduate of Jackson County High School and resides in Jefferson, Georgia, with her family.
