Emmanuel College and Coach Scott Borchers is proud to announce two more additions to the EC Women’s Soccer program. Lauren Moore of Cumming, GA and Dilyn MacLean of Blue Ridge, GA have signed to play for EC’s Soccer Lady Lions. “These two young ladies have been added to help with our goal production,” states Coach Borchers.

Dilyn has great size and strength to compete at collegiate level. “If Dilyn can make the transition to the college game I expect her to be a major contributor as a freshman” states Coach Borchers.
Dilyn possess a tremendous amount of technical ability; add that to her knowledge and experience playing at a competitive level, she is going to be a deadly striker.
According to Borchers, MacLean has a strong shot and great field vision, the plans are to play her as a striker, she will also give us time in the central midfield area as she is great at seeing and playing the deadly penetrating pass in behind a defense.
Lauren Moore is a transferring from Truett-McConnell College, where she was a stand-out striker for two years. Moore earned 2nd Team All-Region honors in the GJCAA in 2007. In her two year campaign at TMC, Moore scored 20 goals and helped out with 15 assists.
Lauren is a very technical player, she’s confident on the ball in 1v1 situations, and is a good distributor of the ball. As well as having the ability to take on players, Lauren also has great field vision when passing the ball, which means she will see playing time as a striker and midfielder. TMC Head Coach David McDowell says of Moore, “Lauren has developed her knowledge of the game over the past two years and is very good about bringing her teammates into the game - she will be a great asset for the EC program”.
The EC Soccer program welcomes these two ladies with open arms and look forward to seeing them in a Lady Lions uniform soon!
