The Christian Ministries programs are open to all qualified majors who desire higher education in a Christian environment. Applicants must be of sound Christian character, committed to fulfilling God's call on their lives and interested inpreparing themselves for a life of Christian service in one form or another.

1. All applicants must give evidence of a Christian conversion experience and a sincere desire to seek and experience the truths of God's Word. Applicants must be committed tothe will of God for their lives and to a life of service for Jesus Christ.
2. Before making application to the SCM, the student must have completed the following courses with a grade of "C" or above: EN 101, EN 102, MA 115 or a higher math,CM 13O, BI 14O, BI 141, PH 237.
3. Applicants must have a minimum of a 2.00 grade point average on a 4.00 scale on all course work completed at Emmanuel College.
4. In addition to being admitted to Emmanuel College, applicants must fulfill specificapplication requirements stated on the SCM application form. Official admission to a SCM baccalaureate degree program is determined by the faculty in the SCM. Forms forapplication and letters of recommendation are available from the of lice of the chair of the Christian Ministries Department.
5. Applicants must be interviewed by a faculty member in the SCM who will use the SCM's recommendation form in assessing the student.
6. Once admitted to a SCM program, the student must maintain a 2.00 overall GPA inorder to continue in the program, as well as complete chapel and Christian Service Practicum requirements.
7. Transfer credits which are applicable to the programs of the SCM are accepted asstated in the Transfer Policy.
8. Students transferring from another degree program at Emmanuel College to a degree program within the SCM must provide a letter of transfer written by the chair of thedepartment within which the student was pursuing a degree prior to applying to the SCM.
