SCM Recent Alumni Highlights: Summer 2006

Stephen Jones, SCM Class of 2002
Stephen Jones is currently serving as the Associate Pastor/Christian Education Ministries at Stanley IPHC in Stanley, NC. He has served the church in that capacity since February 2003. Stephen is also completing a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Stephen is married to Mandy Morgan Jones, an Emmanuel College alumnus currently teaching at John Chavis Middle School in Cherryville, NC. Mandy and Stephen graduate Summa Cum Laude from EC and were immersed in leadership roles while on campus. Way to go!

Ian Cole, SCM Class of 2005
Ian Cole is currently serving as the Worship Pastor at Church of the Nations Assembly of God in Athens, GA. His duties there include directing the adult choir, praise teams, youth praise teams, bands, drama, dance, and musical productions. Ian was a valedictorian of his graduating class at Emmanuel Colelge, served as an ELI Intern, and coordinated worship in chapel services. Ian is also actively involved in the nationally acclaimed music ministry "The Oracle" with Emmanuel College alumni Paul Wheeler, Jason Crowgey, James Tanner, and Michael Westbrook. Anthony Costa, SCM Class of 2004
Anthony Costa is Youth Pastor at Church of the Nations Assembly of God in Athens, GA. He has served the church in that capacity since 2003. Anthony was an honor graduate from Emmanuel College. He is married to Jessica Ross Costa. They have a beautiful daughter named Isabella. Anthony has a tremendous love for middle school and high school students. He came to EC following the completion of a Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School in Africa. He works with the high school students at Church of the Nations while his assistant, Brian Johnson (current SCM senior!), serves the middle school students. They make a fantastic youth ministry team!

Bronson Crawford, Class of 2002
Bronson Crawford is Youth Pastor at Grace Fellowship in Watkinsville, GA. He has served there for over 4 years working with both middle and high school students. He has grown the ministry to well over 75 students in his tenure. Bronson was a dynamic basketball player at Emmanuel College as well as an excellent student. He graduated with a BS in Biblical Studies before beginning his career in ministry.

Tim Sessions, Class of 2002
1st Lt. Tim Sessions is a Chaplain in the US Army. He is currently in graduate school earning his MDIV from Regents University. Tim hails from the South Carolina Conference of the IPHC.

Kendall Taylor, Class of 2004
Navy LTE3 Kendall Taylor is in the Navy Chaplain's program for active duty. He is currently in seminary at Asbury.
