EC Basketball in Top 10

(FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga.)--Both EC basketball teams remain in the nation's Top 10, according to National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) rankings on January 27.

The men's team is now ranked third nationally and are 16-4 overall. The 2009 defending NCCAA national champion Lions also hold on to fourth place in their conference, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC), where they are 4-3.

The women’s team is ranked ninth nationally with a 10-8 record. The Lady Lions are 4-4 in the SSAC, where they are ranked fifth. 

The Lions hope to improve in the conference today as they travel to Faulkner University in Alabama.

Both EC teams travel back to Alabama Saturday for more conference play at Auburn University-Montgomery.
