Emmanuel Arts Academy is Now Registering for Fall Classes

The Emmanuel College Arts Academy’s 13-week fall session of classes for children and adults begins Monday, Sept. 8, and ends Dec. 16, 2008. While private music lessons are open for registration throughout the semester, class registration will be open from Aug. 18-Sept. 5 with late registration closing Friday, Sept. 12.

An extension of EC, the Arts Academy offers professional arts training for the community and focuses on quality professional instruction while integrating faith and the arts.

“This is our second year to offer affordable professional arts training to the community,” says Dr. Deborah Stark, Emmanuel Arts Academy Director. We look forward to great success as we increase our class offerings and see our talented students grow in ability and confidence.”

Spring classes for children and adults include pre-school music and motion, class piano, guitar, music fundamentals, voice, advanced musical theatre, sacred dance, art exploration, drawing digital photography, creative writing, conversational German and private lessons in piano, strings, brass, woodwinds, voice, music theory and composition.

Most classes meet one hour weekly on campus at EC, and the 13-week semester tuition begins at $156 per semester. Private instruction tuition ranges from $11 to $25 per 30-minute lesson depending on the level of instructor (student, affiliate, or Emmanuel faculty).
