President Aaron had assumed the presidency of the college upon its reopening in 1933 following the great depression. Progress was so rapid that by the fall of 1939, President Aaron began a fund-raising effort for the administration building. By the fall of 1940, the new building was in use. With the administration building located on the original site of the resort, the current campus began to take shape around the beloved quadrangle. The Aaron Building has seen many uses over the years. Originally, it housed men resident students on the third floor and classrooms and offices on the first and second floors. During the years it has also housed the library and living quarters for staff members. Currently, it contains classrooms (5 multimedia equipped), faculty and staff offices, two computer labs, and the phone and computer network center for the whole campus.
