This discount is available to students who are 65 years of age or older. 

Award

The discount is tuition minus all federal and state scholarships/grants.  This discount is available for all semesters that the student is enrolled.

Application

The Emmanuel College Application for Financial Aid and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are the applications for this discount.  These applications need to be completed each year.  The HOPE Scholarship and Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Applications must be completed if a resident of the State of Georgia.

Renewal

Students are eligible to receive this discount each year, provided that they maintained Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

Additional Requirements

The recipient of this scholarship must qualify as follows:

1. Must have a completed Financial Aid file by July 1st;
2. Must be coordinated with other financial aid awarded;
3. This scholarship in combination with any scholarships and grants cannot exceed the cost of tuition, housing, and/or board charged by the college.  This scholarship will be adjusted if this costs are exceeded;
4. This discount is non-transferable to other students or to any other institution;
5. This discount is not redeemable for cash.
