Business Administration Department

The Business Administration program has two fields of Concentration--Management and Computer Information Systems.  Students should pick one of those two concentrations.    In addition, students have the option of earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration (which offers a variety of studies in management and/or technology-related subjects) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration (which in addition to management and/or technology-related courses, requires study in a foreign language). 

Course content areas include, but are not limited to, the following:  Accounting (Financial and Managerial), Business Ethics, Business Law, Business Policy and Strategy, Computer Applications, E-Commerce, Economics, Entrepreneurship (Small Business Management), Finance (Managerial), Financial Institutions Management, Human Resources and Labor Relations Management, Information Systems, International Business, Internships, Management and Organizational Behavior, Marketing, Personal Financial Management, Producations Operations, and Statistics.  Study in these areas will prepare students for entry-level management positions in a variety of business organizations.
