Dr. Michael S. Stewart, Emmanuel College (EC) President, and Dr. Aaron Brister, EC Baseball Head Coach, are excited to announce that Jordan Timothy Beatty has signed to play baseball at EC.  Jordan graduated from Warner Robins High School in 2007 with a 4.00 grade-point-average. He played on the Jr. Varsity baseball team at Warner Robins high where in his freshman year he was elevated to play center field on the varsity team.  He lettered all four years. Jordan is completing his first year in pre-pharmacy at Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia where he is on the Dean’s List. He will enter Emmanuel in the pre-pharmacy program.

Jordan is the second son of Bill and Carol Beatty of Warner Robins, Georgia.  His father is the Head Coach of the Warner Robins High School Diamond Demons and an instructor at Crossroads Alternative School in Warner Robins.  His mother is Assistant Principal at Warner Robins High School.

Jordan is the grandson of Mrs. Jeneal Murner of Bonaire, Ga. and Dr. and Mrs. G. Earl Beatty of Franklin Springs.  Dr. Beatty retired in 2006 as executive Vice President of Emmanuel College.  He continues to serve as an adjunct professor in the School of Christian Ministries.
