Visit EC

Emmanuel College provides campus tours throughout the year for prospective students and their family and friends. Tours are traditionally given by admissions counselors who also current EC students. These tours not only provide information, but they allow a student to experience the atmosphere on campus and hear about Emmanuel from a student's perspective. We welcome you to come and visit us soon!

What can I expect on a campus tour?

Tours begin in the Emmanuel College Office of Admissions. We will walk through the campus where you will see firsthand our students and areas of the campus such as our classrooms, recreational facilities, cafeteria and dormitories. From there, we will cater the tour to your individual interests. We can schedule for you to meet with Financial Aid, to talk with professors or to speak with someone involved in a particular club or campus ministry. You may also want to consider sitting in on a class or joining us for a chapel service to gain true firsthand Emmanuel College experience. Tours generally last about an hour, but that depends completely on your choice of activities.

I am interested in visiting, what should I do now?

We provide tours year round, but we generally encourage you to come at a time when classes are in session so that you can gain true perspective of the college atmosphere. To schedule a tour you should call our Admissions office at 800-860-8800 ext. 1 and ask to speak with your admissions counselor. If this is your first contact with the college and you do not have a counselor yet, anyone in the office can assist you in scheduling the tour.

Can I stay overnight on a campus tour or eat in the cafeteria?

Yes, we can accommodate you in a campus dorm room where you will stay with an EC student. We can provide you with a list of local hotels if needed for your family. You will also be able to join us in the cafeteria for your meals during your visit. If you desire to stay overnight, please call us in advance to schedule that aspect of the tour.

Do you accommodate group tours?

Yes, we can arrange for groups to experience a campus tour together. Please call our Admissions Office at 800-860-8800 several weeks in advance so that we can best accommodate your requested date and time.

*Things to keep in mind when scheduling your tour:

  • Weekly chapel services are held on Wed. evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am in the Swails Center.
