Students are granted regular acceptance if they have achieved the following:
When an application is received that does not meet the stated minimum requirements, the applicant is notified that he/she may appeal for reconsideration. If an appeal for reconsideration is received, the applicant’s file is referred to the Admissions Committee for review and response. Additional documents will be required:
The applicant will be required to come on campus to take ACCUPLACER Testing and then their file will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. The decision of the Admissions Committee is final. Students who appeal their admissions decision and are accepted will be enrolled on Conditional Acceptance status. Their academic load for the first semester will be limited to 12-13 hours, they may be required to enroll in one or more developmental studies courses and they may be required to meet with an Academic Counselor periodically during the semester. Failure to earn at least a 2.0 GPA will result in their placement on Academic Probation. |
